The Violin Lesson

Dad went on YouTube again... Strange things happen when he goses on YouTube.

He saw a video of a young chinese woman, Tianwa Yang, playing the 5th caprice (Paganini), see here, and he went wild. So just like that, outta nowhere, he ran to the music store and bought a brand new 200$ Menzel violin. Decent deal for someone who dosen't know jack about violins...

Since dad has been playing electric guitar for the last 15 (or so) years, he's learning pretty quickly. (By the way, his last recording is the "myspace" site -> Jazz Ballad.)
After 10 days, he can now play 2 scales and a few arpegios. Now he took a little break but as soon as he recovers from that cold he got last week, poor man, it's gonna be harcore-violin time.
